Welcome to my website
My name is Matthew and I am a humanistic counsellor based in Waterloo, London. I am committed to creating a nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. My approach emphasises understanding, meaning, and awareness. Through our journey together, I aim to foster self-awareness and facilitate positive transformations in your life.
Our unique experiences shape who we are. In our sessions we will explore how your personal story has impacted you, paying attention to how your past impacts you here and now in the present moment. We can then start to think about how we loosen the hold of the past or reframe its meaning.
Each therapeutic journey is unique based on the relationship we create together. I look forward to discovering the path that we explore.

I am a registered member of the BACP and carried out my counsellor training initially at the Mary Ward Centre followed by my Diploma in Humanistic Counselling at the Metanoia Institute. I have worked with a range of clients within low-cost counselling charities, including Waterloo Community Counselling, where I currently rent rooms.
